DVD MAGAZINE

Hi Everybody,
So finally we are ready to invite you all to join us in Colorado's first DVD Magazine and soon to be skate blog. The website is slowly coming to life (If anyone is interested in helping please contact me) and the dvd project is ready to go. "Conspirascene" has been an idea that i've been kicking around for a couple years but just haven't had enough time to do it until now. It is going to be a collection of footage from all who want to participate. For a little cash you can put 5-8 minute vid together and we will add it to everyone else's and put it out as a DVD. For the shops involved that might want to sell it we are going to put a $5 price tag on it. And everyone involved will get copies.

We are trying to do at least, 1000- DVD-9 in a full color sleeve.
With 100-150 copies, i will be making a limited silk- screened skateart zine, called "COnspiraSCENE" and adding the dvd to it to be sent out to the mags for review and to sell for $10 on the conspirascene and conspiracy sites. Conspiracy will also be giving out dvds with orders and selling them for $5.

Issue #1- will include our new 8 min. feature called "Drained" which has lots of Colorado(mostly) pool footage! We are looking for submissions from you in the next month. We will not be doing your editing. It must be submitted as...

1st choice - uncompressed quicktime on a data disc or thumbdrive

2nd choice - minidv tape


And we would like to get this done soon. We are hoping for at least 5 submisions to get this thing up and going. I think it could be great promo for all involved. If there is any $$ after the making of the dvd's i will use it to make screen printed promo posters to give out to everyone that submits footage. We will also be setting up a release party here in denver which everyone will be involved. Let me know asap if you want to be part of this.


Package #1= $300
up to 5 minutes of footage and at least a 1"x1" space on the back cover of dvd sleeve.
at least-125 dvds for you to do what you want with.

Package #2 = $500
up to 8 minutes of footage on DVD and a1"x2" space on the back cover of sleeve.
at least- 200 dvds for you to do what you want with.

This is really pushing it but i have an Art opening on first Friday in October at the Oriental Theater and it would be great to make it a free release party!

Oh yeah, just in case you haven't heard SWAMP is throwing a Movie premiere party this Friday at the Oriental. The movie is about the history of rock posters. We will also be showing the new "Drained" vid and The Omens and Speedwolf will be playing. I have attached a flyer with more info. Hope to see you there.


I think 7-10 submissions will be all we need for this first issue. Please responed to this email even if you don't want to do this that way i will now that you at least the email and are not into it.
